He-Man is one of the more important action heroes to come out of the 80's. He-Man empbodies what is good about a super-hero, always ready to help the cause of right and never abusing his power.
He-Man's alter-ego is Prince Adam who is as humble and as kind a Prince as anyone. Prince Adam's friendly pet is Cringer, a friendly feline who is as gentle as his owner. When Prince Adam becomes He-Man however, Cringer becomes Battle Cat and is ready to fling himself into battle along site He-Man.
He-Man spends most of his time keeping the evil Skeletor from becoming powerful. He has one half of the Power Sword: Skeletor has the other half. When Prince Adam needs to change into He-Man he just lifts the Power Sword to the sky and yells "By the power of Graskull... I have the power!" He then becomes He-Man and is able to use his powers to stave off evil for another day. In He-Man form his strenght is unmatched.
Prince Adam's friend is Teela who does not know about Adam's alter identity. She is the Captain of the Gaurd and is Adam's protector. Since the only time Teela sees Adam is when he is at the castle being his humble self she sees him as week and lazy. Teela is the adopted daughter of Duncan who is Prince Adam's mentor.
